My rant on.. sitcoms!

Right. So today I've decided to give mini reviews of my favourite sitcoms from Disney and Nick. :D

True Jackson, VP: 6.8/10

The newest sitcom on Nick (Asia).

Fifteen-year-old True Jackson was selling sandwiches with her friend Ryan in the fashion district in New York City. When she is complimented by fashion designer Max Madigan, founder and CEO of MadStyle, Max realizes the clothes True is wearing are his designs, but True had altered them to suit her own purposes. Max likes the altered design, and hires True to be the vice president of his fashion house's youth apparel division.

True hires her best (but extremely unfocused) friend, Lulu, to be her assistant. With Lulu's and Ryan's help, True works to be the best she can be despite various obstacles such as co-worker Amanda, who is less than enthusiastic to be working with a child.

When I watched the sneak preview of True Jackson on Nick, I thought it was pretty good. I like the plot a lot too. But when I watch sitcoms, I judge by the humour first. So far it's able to make me giggle here and there, but not guffaw out loud. I could've given it a 7, but True's friends kinda annoy me. Especially Lulu. I just don't like her unfocused personality. The best character in this show is still True imo.

Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide: 7.2/10

Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide chronicles the wacky adventures of Ned Bigby and his best pals Moze and Cookie at James K. Polk Middle School, as "every-kid" Ned shatters the fourth wall to share tips and tricks on navigating middle school or junior high hurdles. Ned's not super cool, and he has no superpowers. He is, however, witty, well-groomed, upbeat and self-aware. Moreover, with more than a little help from his two best friends, he's equipped to conquer middle school minefields. From crushing bullies to crushes, from off- the-wall, mean and cool teachers to pop quizzes, elections and detentions, Ned knows that nothing, including the seventh grade, is as bad as it seems, and friendship matters most.

Overall, I think this is a sitcom worth watching. Good humour, nice plot and the cuteness Devon Werkheiser. 8D This show has made me laugh plenty of times with the wacky tips and characters. I love everyone in this show. It's hard to pick which character I love best. ^^; But after watching ep after ep for a while, it gets a little boring for a while. And the whole Ned/Moze thing is kinda.. weird. They're great as friends but not as an item, imo. x: But at least his friends aren't as annoying as in VP.

The Suite Life on Deck: 7.7/10

The sequel to The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

The series follows twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin, London Tipton, and Mr. Moseby aboard the luxurious cruise liner, SS Tipton. While on the ship, the kids enroll in a semester-at-sea program, leaving Moseby in charge of the kids on the ship. The ship, owned by London's father, will cruise around the world, with tourists and students attending classes on Deck Eight- the one school that Mr. Tipton believes will make his daughter a better student. While living on the ship, expect Zack and Cody to still have their compass towards mischief.

When I heard that TSLOZ&C's going to have a contemporary sequel, I got really excited. I LOVE Suite Life and the fact that there's gonna be more of it just excites me. But the downside of it was that Maddie wasn't included in the show. That really disappointed me. I loved Maddie! She was so awesome in Z&C, why did they take her out? ):

Instead, she was replaced by another character called Bailey. Being the replacement of Maddie, I didn't like her at first. But after a loooong time of watching On Deck, I grew to love her. The whole cast of On Deck is pretty awesome, but not as lovable as Z&C.

But I still think this show is great. The humour is contributed a whole lot in the rating I gave for this show. Actually, I'm easily amused by almost anything hence the high ratings I give for anime, manga and TV shows. Comedy is always a plus for me. (:

iCarly: 8/10

Hooray! Miranda Cosgrove! :D

Carly hosts her own home-grown web show, iCarly. She lives with her twenty-something brother/guardian Spencer and produces her Web casts from a makeshift third-floor loft studio. Grappling with adolescence, she never aimed to gain fame as a rising star/underground celebrity to kids. As events unfold in the pilot, it all happens by accident when a teacher puts her in charge of the school talent show. She and her sassy best bud Sam turn the audition process into a show, which Carly's tech savvy smitten friend Freddy tapes -- including their hilarious banter and great chemistry -- and posts on the Web without telling the girls. The on-line audience clamors for more, and a pop phenomenon blooms, with Carly and sidekick Sam's regular Web casts ultimately featuring everything from comedy sketches and talent contests to interviews, recipes, and problem-solving.

When I saw a picture of this show on Google Images, the first thing that came to my mind was "Isn't that the girl from Drake & Josh?". My thoughts were right indeed. Miranda's really pretty! I didn't really like the title at first. I mean, c'mon, enough with the iPod-esque title already! I missed the first ep when it first aired on Nick (Asia). One day, I saw that iCarly was gonna play after the show I was watching. My younger sister said it's a good show and I should try watching it and I did, but I didn't expect it to be such a great show.

It managed to make me laugh sooo many times! I love all the characters! Carly, Sam, Spencer and of course, the unloved Freddie. :P Each episode is entertaining and it's fun to watch their webcasts. There's randomness in the humour, so that's a bonus point for iCarly from me. If you found my rantings on this show interesting and haven't watched the show, then I suggest you do. Trust me, it's awesome. :D

Hannah Montana: 8.7/10

Yes, yes, I love this show.

Miley Stewart might seem like an average girl but she isn't. She moved from Tennessee to Malibu and is adapting to a new lifestyle. Miley has a huge secret only known by her dad/manager Robbie Ray Stewart, her weird brother Jackson Stewart, and her two best friends Lilly Truscott and Oliver Oken. Miley Stewart's huge secret is she leads a double as the famous pop singer Hannah Montana along with her friend Lilly who also has a double life as Lola, Hannah's friend.

I know like 58397489338749837489390574903805% of the world hates this show. I know the plot is, according to most people, bad/boring/like-other-Disney-sitcoms and all that crap. But as I mentioned earlier, when it comes to sitcoms, I judge them first and foremost by the humour.

Yes, Miley/Hannah can be very annoying and does stupid things to hurt her friends at times. But what really made me love this show are the people around her. Her dad, brother, Lilly & Oliver, Rico etc etc. I really love the jokes even though they get old after a while. The effects may not be so good, but at least one can tell what's really happening. Trust me, there are shows with even worse effects out there. I've seen plenty. Because I like this show, I'd recommend it to anyone as well. (:

Wizards of Waverly Place: 9/10

Selena Gomez~

The show follows the Russo family, your typical New York City family, on the surface that is. While the Russo kids try to have normal lives as teenagers they must keep a secret; they're wizards in training. They inherit their magical abilities from their dad, Jerry Russo who is also their magic teacher and a former wizard. However, there is a twist, only one child from each wizard family is allowed to keep his or her powers. When they all turn 18 the Russo children will have a family competition between siblings to decide who gets to keep their powers.

When Waverly Place was coming to Disney (Asia), previews of the show came up on Disney almost everytime. Being a sitcom and a Disney fan, I got excited. Yay, another show to watch! I also found Selena Gomez, the actress playing as Alex Russo, to be very pretty. However, I didn't really like Alex in the first few eps. She was a spoilt, selfish brat who was the apple of her father's eye. I pitied her two brothers at first. It took me a while to get used to her jokes on Justin. But now, I love her. (:

The whole show is very entertaining. I love seeing how the magic spells work. Plus, this show is fun for the whole family to watch. Every character in the show is lovable and wacky in their own way. So far, every episode has managed to entertain me and I can't recall a time where I was disappointed with the show.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: 9.8/10

Just awesome.

Zack and Cody Martin are 14-year-olds whose lives change when their single mom gets a job as the headlining singer at Boston's swankiest hotel and, as part of her contract, an upper floor suite in which they all now live. Maddie Fitzpatrick is the hotel's teenage gift shop clerk and part-time babysitter who foils the twins' antics; London Tipton is the hotel owner's spoiled daughter; Carey Martin is the twin's mother and Mr. Moseby the hotel manager.

While mom works to keep them in line, the twins are elated with the amenities of their new home, especially room service, a swimming pool, a game room and a candy counter. Then the hotel's teenage gift shop clerk Maddie steps in as part-time babysitter and foil to the twins' pranks. To the chagrin of the hotel manager, Mr. Moseby, they try to turn the hotel into their playground, and along the way make friends and foe with the disparate staff, guests and residents including the owner's spoiled daughter London.

What can I say? This show rocks in every way. Zack & Cody (Dylan & Cole Sprouse) are just the cutest twins ever imo. I love every single character in this show. Every episode is fantastic and manages to make me laugh all the time. This is the best Disney sitcom I've ever watched. Everything about this show is just pure awesomeness. I may sound dorky, but hey, I can't help it. I love this show. If you haven't watched it, please PLEASE do! (:

Drake and Josh: 10/10

What can I say? Best show ever!

Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) are two teenage stepbrothers who live in San Diego, California when Drake's mother, Audrey Parker (Nancy Sullivan), and Josh's father, Walter Nichols (Jonathan Goldstein), get married. Drake is an easygoing, simple, lucky, lazy, popular, and attractive teenage boy who plays guitar and easily gets girls, while Josh is a diligent, unlucky, sarcastic teenager who constantly gets fed up by Drake's mischievous behavior.

Both brothers are often tortured by their evil little sister, Megan Parker (Miranda Cosgrove), who often plays pranks on them and never seems to get caught or punished by their parents. Walter, Josh's father, is an outdated weather man, who can be described as unlucky, fat and clumsy, like Josh, and Audrey, Drake and Megan's mother, is stricter than Walter. Throughout the series, Drake and Josh go through many conflicts, misadventures, and misfortunes. The conflicts are mainly social, often dealing with the relationship between the two brothers, while other themes include school, work, and Megan.

To be honest, I used to hate this show. From the ads, I found it to be disgusting and very nonsensical, in a bad way. Oh how stupid I was. I only started loving this show early this year, when I watched my very first D&J ep, the one about Drake's concert cancelled due to the rainstorm. I started watching more eps of D&J, and slowly, I started loving the show more and more. Everything about it is so awesome. So far I've only watch episodes from seasons 3 and 4.

I reeeeeeally want to watch seasons 1 and 2! Nick doesn't show seasons 1 and 2 anymore. ): But so far, I love each and every ep I've watched. They entertain me to no end. Drake & Josh has replaced my previous #1 sitcom, Z&C. I used to hate Megan, and I still do now, but I love her for she also contributes to the humour of this show. I love each and every character. Please please PLEASE watch this show if you haven't. It's just downright fantastic.

My decision

.. Yeah. I've given up on all the 'chapter' whatever shit for my blog titles. I guess putting the titles as what I want benefits me even more.

Anyway, I'd like to tell you guys about my decision. This concerns my future. So a while back, I've decided to go to sec 5 and take the 'O' levels. But as days, weeks and even months passed, I kept changing my mind. It's a decision that has kept my mind troubled throughout the year. :/ And now, this might be my final decision, until December 17:

I'm going to Nitec, ITE.

Before you go "HOLY SHIT NAD DON'T WHAT THE FK ARE YOU DOING MAN I HATE YOU" on me, let me explain why I chose this path. Going to Sec 5 and taking the 'O's seem good and almost every member in my family went through the 'O's. My mom wanted me to take the 'O's because well.. it's a family thing. Plus, you'll get the 'O' level cert and are more flexible in terms of academics. I'll also reunite with some of my friends if I take this path.

It's all good. But if I stay with my friends and take sec 5, what if I failed the 'O's and cried? I'm not saying it's bad to stay with my friends or anything, it's awesome actually. But I'm just asking, what if I fail the 'O's? Would my decision be worth it? I'm weak at Maths and Malay. And by weak, I mean very weak.

A lot of people are asking me to go 'O's. I mean A LOT. Their main reason being 'you look like an 'O' student'. Thanks guys, I really appreciate those comments of yours, I really do. Honest! (: But I'm the type that gets distracted easily. 'O' levels are no joke, we can't slack around. I know all that. So this is why I ask myself: By taking the 'O's, would it benefit me more than it would kill me?

And then I changed my mind again. This time, I told myself I'd go to Higher Nitec in ITE. But this reason's simple: there're no courses for me. As in, none of them caught my eye, really. The full list of courses:

Sure, I know some of you have said that it's unimaginable of me to go to ITE as I look more like an 'O's student, but hey, it's my life. You can't tell me what to do. ITE's not the dead end. (:

This is my decision until December 17.

CHAPTER NINETY-ONE

After last year's disastrous chalet, I refused to go to this year's chalet. I didn't pay cause of family financial problems at that time, so it was (almost) confirmed that I wasn't going to the chalet. But after many of my dear friends convinced me to go, I decided just to go, eat the BBQ food and leave. I thought it was gonna be as boring as last year's, but oh how wrong I was.

The chalet was pretty, if not very, awesome! :D

Actually, I planned to go to the chalet at around 2 since the chalet was starting at 3. But then Jon forced, begged, threatened and blackmailed me to go meet him at bedok inter at 12. So I had no choice but to say okay. >_> The best part about this? It was 11.30 and I haven't even showered, so I had to rush like no tomorrow and I even chased bus 14! But guess what? When I reached, HE HAVEN'T EVEN REACH BEDOK INTER. >_____>

Then met Hafiz J, Aizzah, Shu Hui, Hafiz Sham, Jon and Syaifuddin outside Bedok MRT station. After that, we all went to Sheng Siong to buy the chalet stuff. Blablabla, when we reached at MRT station, I went upstairs to meet a friend of mine while the others stumbled upon AZW, Raihah, Sabby, Lynn and JW downstairs lol. Later on, we met Shahfihhan and Mujaheed and we went to Pasir Ris Inter together. We were planning to take the shuffle bus to Aloha Loyang, but we didn't know where. So we planned to split into groups of threes and fours and go there by cab.

When all of us were already split up, I spotted a shuffle bus and was like "Is that the shuttle bus?". Sabby, Lynn, AZW, JW and I just kept staring at it driving by until we saw the sign 'Aloha Resorts' on the window and we chased the bus like lipas kodong rofl! Halfway running AZW offered to carry the plastic bag in my hand. I was too busy chasing the bus at that time so I practically threw it over to him and it fell to the ground. xD But I continued running rofl! xDD Then Mujaheed and the others crossed the road and also chased the shuttle bus hahaha! xD

After alighting the bus at Aloha Loyang, we headed straight for Terrace 6, our chalet. Mdm Hazwah hadn't arrived at that time so we couldn't check in. It was only about 1 or 2 pm at that time so we had lots of time to roam around the area. Aloha Loyang is pretty boring actually. The "Aloha Cafe" only had cheap crackers and bottled drinks and is actually the bicycle renting shop. The arcade sucks so bad. Almost every game in there spoilt, there was only one that worked I think 'cause Raihah played this one animal hunting game. =.=

Then Sabby, Lynn, AZW, Raihah, JW and I walked around the beach. It's more like the shore actually. :/ Meh, it was pretty boring, I must admit. So we walked back to the chalet and we spotted a note in the pool! Rofl then Mujaheed and Shah quickly jumped into the pool and raced for the note. xDD Check check, $2 wtf. xP

Everything was srsly boring after that. Everyone was just walking aimlessly around the chalet area. Then Sabby and I thought of going to the nearest McD's to buy food. So once again Sabby, AZW, Lynn, JW, Raihah and I went to the reception office to ask where the nearest bus stop (to go to Pasir Ris Inter) was. The nearest bus stop? At Downtown East. Damn far. Wtffff.=.= While we were busy having a mini-APEC conference, Mdm Hazwah arrived with her hubby and child! :DD Her son was soooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute OMG! TAT So finally, we checked-in into the chalet!

The chalet was pretty big. Had two levels with two bedrooms on each floor. The boys wanted to have the rooms upstairs so the girls downstairs. Thankfully, none of us (as in among Sabby, Lynn etc etc I keep mentioning lulz) were planning to overnight at the chalet. But we chose a room on the first floor as "our room" for the day. We had so much fun taking pics!

Soon, Fyzo and Mubarak came! :D

Oh ya, we went to the beach and took pics. :D Then after that, we walked around the footpath and we saw a wild monkey eating nuts on a tree. It was kinda weird seeing it there, and one guy was like "Don't go near it! It's wild". :/ Then we walked back to the chalet. We had lots of fun in our room. Such as locking Mubarak out of the room (as seen in the above pic) and our McD's orders finally came! :D

Shortly after, AZW had to go home 'cause he had some sort of class thingy starting soon at home. Or smth like that. Soooooooo that's when Shayana was on the way to the chalet and got lost. She called me countless times and had desperate cries like how to go etc lol.

When she FINALLY reached the chalet, I ran outside and had a dramatic hugging moment with her! Lol. When she went into the terrace, she was like the superstar. The boys from upstairs ran down in a stampede mumbling "Eh shayana! Shayana datang ar!" especially Shah rofl. Then, being the good sis I am, I left her alone and went into our room to join back with Sabby & Co. lulz. x3

Everyone decided that the BBQ should start around 6.30 - 7pm, but even when it's 7.05pm, nobody had prepared the BBQ whatsoever. In the end, we, the Sabby & Co. had to prepare everything. =_= We took like 30 mins to start the fire rofl.

At first, the BBQ seemed pathetic.Out of 30+ hotdogs, only 3 were cooked. And they weren't cooked very well either. But later on, more people helped and the BBQ slowly became a good BBQ. (: Mdm Hazwah, who went back earlier, couldn't make it back to the chalet for the BBQ but we met Mr Russell Lee and Mr Robert Lee! Lols. xP Mr Russell Lee and some other guys went shopping for more tasty food while the rest just.. chill. Lol.

While chilling with Sabby & Co. back in our room, I heard a knock from the toilet door, which was right beside me. I was so shocked and scared. Aper lagi, cabot dulu! :P I gave an excuse to escape from the room. After I escaped from the room, I waited for them to come out.. then I tell them what happened. Ahaha, I'm so bad. xD

The food was pretty delicious in the end. But at 9.30, Shayana fetched me by cab. Mubarak hitched a ride in the cab with us to Bedok. (:

and.. TA-DAH! The BBQ chalet story, as told by Nadiyah! MWUHAHA! But I'm soooo not overnighting man. There are more pics actually, I'll upload them on FB later on. Oh and some of the photos are with the other members of Sabby & Co. :P TIRED BUH-BAI.

CHAPTER EIGHTY-NINE

CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHT

Hauuu~ why is Touka-sama so darn pretty and adorable?! Makes me feel like hugging her soooooooooooooooooo tightly. T_T Couldn't find the subbed ep of Shin Koimu ep 5 in Veoh so I had to watch it at YT. >_> But yay, Karin appears in ep 5! I think I'm starting to love Cao Cao more and more over the time. I'm beginning to notice his charming-ness. xP I've always loved him, but not as much as now. xDD

Oh and did I mention Teiiku made her first appearance in ep 5 too? :P She's so cute omg! But she looks slightly better in the game imo. Oh well, she's still very cute nonetheless.

Ah my lovely Touka-sama, you are just too cute/pretty for words.

... WHYYYY?! YOU'RE TORTURING MEEEEE T_____T meh I love this kind of torture anyways. xD

CHAPTER EIGHTY-SEVEN

I went to Tamp Polyclinic with my mom and grandma today for grandma's follow-up appointment. Heh, we had to see a Health Counsellor regarding her illness. She taught her what to eat and what not to eat to stay healthy. There's no cure for her illness, but there's a way to make it.. um, not get serious. The counsellor also said that once she has it, every family member is prone to getting it too. /sigh It got me worried. x:

Oh and guess what? I ate two McDonald's meals today! First was in the morning, I ate teh awesome McD Hotcakes. Bought them at TM, hoho. When I was going back to the poly with the breakfast food, I callously left my wallet on the chair. >_> Luckily, some lady found it and sent it to the Registration counter. So the counter girl called my mom and I had to fetch it lulz. I got scolded for being so callous. My IC, EZ-Link and all my money were in there! D:

Before going back home, I went to the handphone shop nearby my house and bought a landyard for my phone! :D It's a light blue landyard and I thought it was pretty and reminded me of Miku so I bought it. :P Then at night, Aziq & fam came and we ordered McD's again! :DD I ate teh cheeseburger happy meal, hoho.

On Monday, my big sis and I are gonna have a sleepover at Andi's house because we need to babysit Andi & Arynn. Yay! Andi's house = Movie theatre. 8D Speaking of movies, I watched Enchanted and Igor today on Star Movies. Enchanted was pretty good. Think I'll give it an 8.5/10. During Igor, I drifted off a few times cause sometimes they're just chattering away, but it was still pretty enjoyable to watch so I'll give it a 6.7/10.

Then on Disney, I watched Dinosaur!! 8D 8D It's a really old movie, but it's a really special movie to me because it's the first movie that I ever watched in a cinema. I was 7 years old back then lol. xP Watching Dinosaur all over again made me feel nostalgic. ^^ I give it a 10/10. :D

CHAPTER EIGHTY-SIX

I don't know wtf is wrong with everyone lately. Even me. Maybe the time of the month is coming soon or maybe it's because of some depressing dream I had days ago. It was of my family found dead in a fire, in some kampung house thing and I was the only one left alive.

Then there's that dream of a dragonfly that came into my house. My grandmother said that if you dream of a dragonfly, it's a bad omen. So I think something bad is going to happen in my house, but I don't know what. I've been so scared, angry and sad about everything lately. I don't know what's wrong with me. I keep having this feeling that nobody's really caring about me. I also feel that I have no talent and no life. Please don't ask me why I feel like this, sometimes I just cry in the toilet during my shower. I wonder why am I feeling like this?

Why am I so different? Why don't I have many friends? Why am I known as a quiet girl in public, yet I'm actually pretty noisy at home? I think I'm having an emotional breakdown. I don't know what to do anymore. Different people keep telling me to make different decisions. Group A says Sec 5, group B says ITE. But really, can you imagine me in ITE? Yet on the other side, 'O' levels are really starting to scare me. Maybe this decision has been the one making me stressed. I just don't know what to do anymore.

CHAPTER EIGHTY-FIVE

Currently addicted to Nageki no Ame by Hatsune Miku. It's so sad. ;_; I'm looking for more Miku rock songs. I looked for some yesterday, but none were as good as Nageki no Ame. But I found another pretty good Miku rock song called God Slaying Machine (okay I know the title is so.. o_o But it's nice nonetheless! :D).

You know, I've been thinking.. they say people change. But somehow, I don't. Everytime I meet up with people whom I've never met for years, they said "oh you're still the same, eh?". I wonder why I stay the same? Why can't I be different for once? And if you look at my face when I was in primary school, it's still the same as now. Even my height didn't change much. And some of my friends are like "wow, you haven't changed at all. You still like anime /blablabla" yeah, I guess my strong love for anime will go on for a looooong time.

But I still remain the same ol' me. It's boring. Why can't I be different?

CHAPTER EIGHTY-FOUR

Oh my gosh. I srsly don't know what's wrong with Blogger. I feel like stabbing it with a badass knife. I MEAN SRSLY. When I pressed 'save' it lead to an Error 400 Bad Request page. Then when I go back, that stupid page ruined my codes. You have no idea how many painful times I have to re-save everything. >_>

Anyway, I changed my URL because I don't wanna chimmify my URL anymore and since I love rain, I decided Rain Rain Come Again as my URL. :D Actually, I wanted to make a Touka-sama layout, I even found a pic I wanna use for it but it didn't turn out as nice, so my next choice was the lovely Maria from Umineko no Naku Koro ni. So far the toughest layout I've designed/coded because changing from Iframe to div layout is so long and leceh. Dx

I still have a few minor things to do to this layout, like the text and content and stuff, but I'm already very exhausted right now and I need to get back to my manga. Okay, backbone breaking. Bai.
